You can simulate the Colin experience by watching a Tom Baker story with the colour intensity and sound turned up as high as they'll go, and fast forwarding through all the good bits.
Elgin came from a working class background, but through being bright at exams had gone to university, and now looked down on those less fortunate than himself.

To be honest, it's not often I read that as a disappointed claim.

I wanted to make more reviews of terrible stories, so after DiM/EotD I planned to watch Timelash/Attack/Battlefield in one a go:)

Ah, I'll go for Torchwood's Cyberwoman and that episode of The Simpsons about Lizards and pigeons...they are horrible enough for me to get the knives out like I did with Evolution of the Daleks :DDD

I'm just surprised that Nix hasn't caved in to the temptation to do the age old "Doctor Who DVDs going cheep? But I'm all out of bird seed!" gag yet. I know I would if I were him. Or, indeed, if I were me. Hmmmm?

It's too late, I tell ya! I've seen all the c~nts illegally. Too late, Monsieur BBC and your cotton wool bud cleaners. You had your window and you blew it! You blew windows! That's how chronic your ineptitude is. You should've released it all on DVD quickly, then resold with the idea of clean-up. Only a cretin couldn't think of that. Cretins! Laughing at you. Cretins!

For Australians, JB Hi Fi are currently selling a selection of DW DVDs for $16 each (when normally they're about $46).

Some fairly cheap stuff at dvd.co.uk. Revelation of the Daleks is £4.95: http://www.dvd.co.uk/DVD/Dr-Who-Revelat ... roduct.htm

Earthshock is £4.95: http://www.dvd.co.uk/DVD/Dr-Who-Earthsh ... roduct.htm although Asda has this for £4.28: http://www.asda-entertainment.co.uk/asda/81265.product

Resurrection of the Daleks is £4.95: http://www.dvd.co.uk/DVD/Dr-Who-Resurre ... roduct.htm

The Time Meddler is £7.85, but I'm gambling that's got a bit further to fall.... http://www.dvd.co.uk/DVD/Doctor-Who-The ... roduct.htm

I see zavvi (the actual shop, not checked online yet) have Tegan Tales for £15. Only the fact that they're utter rubbish put me off buying them.

What are the commentaries/extras/RT interference like?
