Not so much credible since the end of TOATL is quite competant....though yeah, the big backlash is beggining now that DW's current out of the running long-term, this is where everyone slates what went "wrong" now

I think they're referring to "CARROT JUICE?"

Which sucks.

Actually, it was the fact that it was anti-climatic in that they just let him off.

But this is an issue that had a top five Dalek moments without any from a TMT story.

Do you mean a backlash against Doctor Who as a whole, or just RTD's version?

RTD's version. It'd been simmering for a while, but you know what they say about "priveleges"...

Aw, you know it's 'cuz they're all missing stories and the writers can't be arsed to watch the recons.

And because Troughton is black.

It's alright to have a backlash against RTD now. He's almost gone.

I agree with four on that list. Billy saying Merry Christmas isn't that bad though, and it's there that I'd stick in the Doctor strangling Peri.

#2 is fine for me, though the Face of WTF and Miniature Doctor from the same episode are ridiculous. Last of the Time Lords without those two moments would be ***** I think.

#1? A bizarre moment, but hardly the worst moment ever.

Maybe people thought the Olympic Torch scene was reminiscent of a bad Hollywood
blockbuster? I cringed when I saw it-I thought "Next we'll get Doctor Who
saves Santa Claus!"*

*Mind you,"Doctor Who Saves Santa Claus" would have probably been
far better than "The Runaway Bint".

And you know... that Olympic moment could have been OK if we'd cut to Rose looking horrified at the whole affair. Or with one of those, "I can't believe is actually doing that!" looks on her face. Instead she's almost in tears. Thanks, Russ for bludgeoning us with an emotional moment yet again.
